Fun fact: We only have three employees 90% of the time (unless you count my current 3 month old as an employee!). Running a bookstore, a social media account, an axe throwing venue, AND during Halloween we do a haunted drive-thru...it's a lot! You come in the door and you're greeted with a friendly face. If you want a bookstore to feel safe and comfortable at, we're your place. Although be warned we will chat up a storm and be friends by the time you leave!
Also in our community: The Columbus Farmers Market is open all weekend. Good food, Amish market, and outside vendors on Sunday morning depending on the weather. And of course axe throwing, which we also own, is right next door! We have projection targets so, yes, you're throwing a real hatchet, but at a projected screen. There are games like tic tac toe, duck hunt, and wheel of fortune. It is also BYOB.
Resident pet: I bring my kitty, Eevee, from time to time! Maybe she will make an appearance!
Recent favorite titles: Fourth Wing (obvious because we have a dragon theme), For the Fans by Nyla K—we like it spicy up in here! My dad is a horror fan, so we have a good selection of horror and thrillers! I'm currently reading Shield of Sparrows.
Our aim is to be a cozy, magical place! Like our name it's like your entering a welcoming realm. We aim towards a dragon, fantasy, and romance vibe. We have a dnd section, blind date books, book boxes, and spicy merch. Some kids books, a used book section with great prices, and a wide variety of goodies. We focus more on new books, but our shelves with used are priced great with like new books (we are very picky with year & condition of used books).
